Catching Up

Cebolla was excited for today's class, it was the last class for the week and then its the weekends. She had plans to visit Kristen and Ringtail.

She's always thinking about her, and when Kristen had spent only 1 day as a YA, Cebolla sent her this text. 

Aww🥲 but we're gonna pretend this never happened

One of her classes(aspiration) requires her to sit through a guest lecture. So once the doors opened Cebolla ran to attend one. 

She was excited to attend a lecture on Law. Hehehe maybe to know whats within being legal and what's not 

Along the way she got a mysterious text from someone. 

Of course she said, give me.

"Awww, Kristen's never going to agree to that"

Can't have it all Cebolla

Arriving in San Sequoia Ringtail came out to greet her.

"Hi buddy! Long time no see, ya miss me?"

Of course he missed his Onion.

Both were excited to share updates on each other. While Kristen learned about Cebolla's degree, and courses, Cebolla learned that Kristen got an audition on a romance drama medical show.

"Wanna help me practice later?"

"Yes!! It'll be like when we practiced for your plays"

Kristen prepared dinner while Cebolla played with Ringtail.

"Oh, did Tae tell you the big news?" Kristen asked

"No, tell me what?" Cebolla was a little worried

"Ringtail had babies" She whispered

"Ringtail's a girl?" Cebolla asked

"You know what I mean. I told his sister, we're going to visit them tomorrow"

"Wait, for real?! My baby had babies!"

After dinner the two rehearsed a scene. Kristen took a deep breath to compose herself.

It was supposed be a scary scene, and it definitely turned scary when right in the middle of it the ground beneath them shook. Her home lies right on top of a quake zone.

"Are you alright?" Kristen asked

"That earthquake came out of nowhere"

To help calm her down, Kristen suggested they go on a walk. Together they sat on a bench facing the lake in the splash park. 

"I heard rumors that an escaped, all white colored alligator lives in this water. I think I saw it too"

"Close to my place in Britechester, there's this weird fairy ring looking thing. I want to find out whats the deal with it"

The two sat there just talking, swapping stories and that made Cebolla happy.

During this visit she really wanted to see if there was any chances of them getting back together but realized currently neither of them is really ready. 

She's focusing on her degree, while Kristen wants to focus on her career. For now, it was about enjoying each other's company like before.

The next morning they were going to visit Tae and Chiyo in Gibbi Point. Though before they left for the ferry, they played a round of ping pong. It was the first game they ever played together back when they were still teens.

Things haven't changed, Kristen still wiped the floor with her.

"Good game" Kristen shook her hand.
"Yeah, I guess" 

They both had a little déjà vu from the last time.

"I want a rematch! You cheated"

Her response was enough to make Kristen giggle. "She's such a sore loser" 

No more rounds however, it was time to grab Ringtail and head to Gibbi Point
