Loss

 Kristen was devastated when she heard the news.

She waited for Cebolla to return to ask what happened.


Though Cebolla knew she couldn't just drop it all on her. 
"I'm so sorry" 


Cebolla was atleast happy that Kristen wasn't going to be alone through this.


As they planned the funeral over the phone with her mother, Ringtail helped with comforting her.

Being busy during the day, they went to visit her family in Nordhaven in the evening. 
"It's freeeezing, Kristen said it wasn't" Cebolla shivered


Inside Kristen found the alter for her father. She spoke some words to him, she never got to make amends with him.


"Hey Sabrina, I'm sorry about your Dad. How are you feeling?"
"Um.. I'm ok"


"It's okay to cry if you want to. Holding it in isn't any good".


"If you need anything, just say the word. Or if you need someone to talk too, I'm there too"
Sabrina smiled a little after hearing that.


Ringtail certainly helped her with a smile


Outside Kristen spoke with her mother, Eleanor. She was devastated with the news, but for her daughters she was strong. She just wishes it didn't have to be that with with her husband.
They discussed last minute funeral preparations. It was going to held the following morning. 
Cebolla and Ringtail sat away from them to give them space to mourn together.


She joined them near the end, and thought to herself.
"Wolfie told me I should atleast get her mother's permission, but I can't do it now"


Returning home, they went to rest. They were leaving early again in the morning. Kristen had on her brave face all day but now that his funeral was nearing, it was becoming harder to keep on.


However there was one thing she couldn't stop thinking about.
Kristen knew her parents had temporarily separated weeks ago. Her mother asked Johan to reflect on himself, and to change so he can come back better. But he never got that chance.
That stayed in her mind, not just his loss but everything that was left unfinished. It made her think about her own life. 
Her and Cebolla broke up before, and almost became unfinished too. She didn't want that for them, to wait for the perfect time, she didn't want to become an 'almost' either. Kristen knew exactly what she wanted for them.


A/N -  I'm so glad Kristen had this want. Johan's death happened on the 19th and I haven't opened this save until the 22nd because I wasn't sure what to do, even as the funeral plans happened. 
I honestly considered a path where Kristen blames Cebolla, and it would've completely ended everything for them. It was so close to happening but her having this want after visiting her family, changed my mind. Thank You Kristen ❤️

 While Cebolla prepared her inventory to stock up the Sales table with, Ringtail watched some cartoons on the tv.  Once ready, she grabbed her table and called him to join her. They headed to the lounge that was close by. She was close to reaching her fund goal. It was late so she didn't think many sims would stop by. Love Day

Valentines Day arrived on a cold wintery day across Gibbi Point. Cebolla wasn't sure yet how to spend it  with Kristen but she was she'd figure something out later on when they planned to get together.  For now, she was on her way to Jellyfish Junction. After bringing Wolfie the cure to bring him back to life, she felt free to focus on other goals. She really wanted to spot the elusive Plumbird since moving to Gibbi Point and heard rumors of their rare sighting closeby to the Lighthouse.  Before she could begin her search Cebolla stopped by the home of Honey, Carly and Irene. She heard about Honey's newest pet, Maple. She was waiting right at the doorsteps.  Cebolla made sure to sneak a biscuit from her work just for her.  Good girl ☺️ After some pets and scratches, Cebolla continued on her search for the Plumbird. Future Moves

Kristen graduated from high school early and immediately enrolled into University. Cebolla was thrilled for when she shared the news  "When are you graduating? Maybe we can go to Uni at the same time" "Hehehe ... yeah... but not yet. Y'know, soon" Cebolla laughed nervously.  She still doesn't know about Cebolla's situation and she's nervous about telling her. In Nordhaven, I made some final touches to the outside of her soon to be home. It's not going to have the tables or chairs out, I just needed them to be able to visualize it.  Furnished it's looking at 43k but she won't be having all this furnishing at the start. How I would like the inside to look like. I really want it to be a struggle so I'm considering adding the rat hole wall decal, from City Living to spook some customers when they spot the rat running around, and inside her home too.  I like the SpongeBob Kit, Dollar bill to be her 1st dollar.
