What Remains

All 3 arrived in Nordhaven early in the morning, entering Eleanor greeted them. It being the big day, Cebolla felt guilty all of a sudden.

"I'm so sorry Mrs. E, I feel like this is all my fault. Do you want me to go?"

Though Eleanor was understanding, "No, please stay. Don't take it like that, it was out of your hands."


Kristen greeted Sabrina

Eleanor stepped outside to take a deep breathe and to shed some tears. Kristen did her best to comfort her mother. 


It was a small ceremony. Kristen led the eulogy. Eleanor looked on proud of her.


When she finished Cebolla lit a candle 


Kristen felt horrible

Though her mother wasn't going to let her feel that way


Inside Ringtail ran all over looking for his broken cat wand toy. He broke it when playing with Kristen when she would bring him over for visits.


And he left it near the grave (he was giving it to Kristen right in front of him, but when he looked over to the wreathe 🥲)

With the event over, Kristen and Cebolla headed back home in Britechester. Kristen asked if they could go through a detour in Copperdale. 
Eventually they found their way to the gazebo close to Plumbite Cove.
"Thank you for being there these past couple of days, I don't think I can really put into words how much it means to me, and my family"


"I've been thinking a lot lately about everything that happened. About my dad, ...us"
Cebolla got a little nervous. Why did her voice sound like they were breaking up again?, she thought


"I've spent so long thinking I needed to wait for the right time, for things to get better first before anything else can happen. It doesn't really work like that though."
"...Kris-"
"I don't want to keep waiting for that, I already know who I want to spend the rest of my life with."
Getting down on one knee, she pulled a ring from her pocket, "Will you marry me?"

I LOVE how the lights turned on the second she kneeled 😭 It was perfect

Cebolla was speechless. 


Without any hesitation, Cebolla said yes


A/N - Since the keg party and Cebolla getting some advice from Wolf, I've been wondering on how and when would Cebolla propose. When I couldn't think of anything, I decided to wait for her to get the want to become engaged first but Kristen caught it first. And under the circumstances, and everything that's happened between them it was perfect that it was Kristen this time around to bring things forward for them. The game really gets it right sometimes on its own 🥲

 While Cebolla prepared her inventory to stock up the Sales table with, Ringtail watched some cartoons on the tv.  Once ready, she grabbed her table and called him to join her. They headed to the lounge that was close by. She was close to reaching her fund goal. It was late so she didn't think many sims would stop by. Love Day

Valentines Day arrived on a cold wintery day across Gibbi Point. Cebolla wasn't sure yet how to spend it  with Kristen but she was she'd figure something out later on when they planned to get together.  For now, she was on her way to Jellyfish Junction. After bringing Wolfie the cure to bring him back to life, she felt free to focus on other goals. She really wanted to spot the elusive Plumbird since moving to Gibbi Point and heard rumors of their rare sighting closeby to the Lighthouse.  Before she could begin her search Cebolla stopped by the home of Honey, Carly and Irene. She heard about Honey's newest pet, Maple. She was waiting right at the doorsteps.  Cebolla made sure to sneak a biscuit from her work just for her.  Good girl ☺️ After some pets and scratches, Cebolla continued on her search for the Plumbird. Kristen graduated from high school early and immediately enrolled into University. Cebolla was thrilled for when she shared the news  "When are you graduating? Maybe we can go to Uni at the same time" "Hehehe ... yeah... but not yet. Y'know, soon" Cebolla laughed nervously.  She still doesn't know about Cebolla's situation and she's nervous about telling her. In Nordhaven, I made some final touches to the outside of her soon to be home. It's not going to have the tables or chairs out, I just needed them to be able to visualize it.  Furnished it's looking at 43k but she won't be having all this furnishing at the start. How I would like the inside to look like. I really want it to be a struggle so I'm considering adding the rat hole wall decal, from City Living to spook some customers when they spot the rat running around, and inside her home too.  I like the SpongeBob Kit, Dollar bill to be her 1st dollar.
